Built with Heart, Grown Through Community

Built with Heart, Grown Through Community

A Little Reflection (From My Heart to Yours)

The past few months have been a whirlwind, in the best, most stretching, sometimes overwhelming, but incredibly beautiful way.

Opening this space has meant more to me than I think I’ve even been able to put into words until now.

Because the truth is… this didn’t just start recently.

This has been in my heart for as long as I can remember.

I can still picture being a little girl, around my daughters’ age, sketching outfits, dreaming up what my “store” would look like. Back then, I imagined it in a big city, Manhattan, with a mix of clothing and art, creativity spilling out into every corner. When I got into FIT at 17, it felt like I was stepping into that dream for real.

And then life happened. Things shifted, evolved, and didn’t follow the exact path I once imagined.

But somehow… they still led me here!!

And while this space may not look exactly like the version I dreamed up as a little girl, it feels like her in all the ways that matter.

Because this is more than a boutique.

It’s a creative space.
It’s a place for connection.
It’s a place where women can come in, feel seen, feel inspired, feel a little more like themselves.

From the clothes to the charms to the conversations that happen in between, every little detail has been built with intention and heart.

And what’s been the most special part?
The community.

And in these past few months, something really special has started to happen…

This space has become exactly what I hoped it would be and in so many ways, even more.

We’ve hosted birthday parties, community gatherings, and events that have filled the room with laughter and connection. We’ve opened our doors for a women’s marketplace, welcomed photographers into our rental space for beautiful shoots, and even had the honor of donating the space for a swing dance charity event to help raise money for a mission trip. We’ve also worked along side Rubies and Rogues on many things for the community and animals, which has been such a meaningful part of this journey.

Because it was never just about opening a boutique.
It was about creating a space that people could step into and feel something.

As we head into summer, there’s so much more ahead, more events, more connection, more growth. And I can already feel this next chapter unfolding in ways I once only imagined.

But I also want to be honest…

Not every day has been easy.

There have been moments of doubt, wondering if the timing was right, if everything would work the way I hoped, if the outside noise or negativity would ever try to creep in and take away from something that means so much to me.

And beyond the business, life hasn’t stood still either. There have been personal challenges, hard days, moments where I’ve felt stretched thin trying to hold everything together while still showing up for this space and for the people in it.

But somehow… even in the hard moments, this continues to feel worth it.

Because when I look around and see what this space is becoming, when I see people gathering, creating, celebrating, supporting each other, it reminds me that this was never meant to be perfect.

It was meant to be real.
And it was meant to grow.

The people who have shown up, supported, shared kind words, brought their friends, trusted me, believed in this space… that’s something I will never take lightly.

I truly believe there is something powerful about women supporting women. About community over competition. About creating spaces where there’s room for everyone to grow, create, and shine in their own way.

Because no two stories are the same.
No two visions are the same.
And that’s the beauty of it.

I’ve also found myself stepping outside of my comfort zone in ways I never expected, saying yes to opportunities that stretch me, like speaking at a women’s event (which still feels surreal to even say out loud). But I’m learning that growth often lives right on the other side of fear.

And I’m choosing to lean into that.

This is just the beginning.

There are still so many ideas on my heart.
So many ways I want to give back.
So many ways I want this space to continue evolving into something even deeper, even more meaningful.

But for now, I just feel grateful.

Grateful for where I started.
Grateful for where I am.
And grateful for what’s still to come.

Thank you for being part of this with me 🤍
